Spotted Ratings, Wednesday 1/23/13

WHAT MATTERS:

• Week two of American Idol began with an 8% week-to-week decline, which was a bit smaller than last year's week two decline. This number was 15% below last year's second Wednesday.

• ABC had a rather mixed evening with The Middle and The Neighbors picking up some steam, and Nashville taking a significant hit to halt its recent momentum. CBS was up multiple ticks with both dramas to tie season highs, an impressive feat considering they're still in the between-Survivor period.
