- It's been pretty clear all season that this has been a really bad season for the returning musical competitions, but this is one of those days where it's really noticeable. The final performance edition of American Idol and the Glee finale were both down over 30% from the year-ago editions, while Dancing with the Stars wrapped up for the season down about 30% even though the year-ago edition had to face The Voice. DWTS lost to America's Got Talent in the 9/8c hour but (in the prelims) got as high as a 3.6 by 10:30.
- NBC got Fashion Star-esque numbers out of a 20th anniversary special for Dateline.
