Spotted Ratings, Friday 5/18/12

WHAT MATTERS:
  • With CBS and Fox both sitting out the final Friday of the season, the only show to really capitalize was NBC's Grimm, which tied for the top rating of the evening and was significantly up over its last few eps to its best number since April 13. It tied Grimm's fourth-best number ever.
  • ABC's unscripted lineup had a fairly soft finale week despite the diminished competition, with Shark Tank down a tick and Primetime: What Would You Do? and 20/20 taking a beating.

Great Friday night line up on primetime. I love watching Grimm and it’s one of the best shows on primetime as is Shark Tank. I’ve enjoyed both of these shows, and now I can skip all the commercials using my Auto Hop feature, on my Hopper. I’m glad my coworker from Dish showed me how this feature works. This new feature allows people the choice to skip commercials automatically or not. With a DVR, you're already doing that, so Auto Hop's just making skipping over commercials easier. Now I won’t put so much wear and tear on my new remote.
