War of 18-49 Update, Glee (2014-15)

Let's take a look at the 2014-15 season (the sixth and final overall) of Glee on Fox.

*- For this winter's War of 18-49 updates, the A18-49+ is based on a projected league average, calculated by applying the league average's current year-to-year trend (thru 3/1/15) to the final 2013-14 average. This should help make these numbers compare more fairly with seasons past.

Rating the Ratings: Just four years after Glee was the top drama on television and in a virtual tie for top scripted series, it played out its final 13 episodes on Friday and never sniffed at a 1.0 demo rating. Perhaps saddest of all is that this 0.66 average wasn't even that much of an underachievement in the context of how pathetically it ended last season. The only true lowlights were the 0.5 on Feburary 6, the only time it dropped below that unfathomable 0.6 season five finale, and the near-complete lack of interest in the two-hour series finale (0.8/0.7). Its raw numbers drop was actually almost identical to season five, when it was still on a weeknight. Still, being down another 45% from last season's debacle is nothing to write home about. Grade: D.

Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for Glee.
