Spotted Ratings, Sunday 8/14/11 (FINALS): In the Flop

Everybody had originals last Sunday, a rarity in the summer!

  • The premiere of Fox's sketch comedy series In the Flow with Affion Crockett didn't flow well with the repeat of Family Guy (1.8). It posted just a 1.3 in its 9:00 debut and then dropped to a 1.0 for its second episode at 9:30. It'll start at 9:30 in future weeks.
  • CBS' lineup got bumped by a little over an hour due to the final round of the PGA Championship. The coverage averaged a 1.2 for the whole day but a 1.8 in the 7:00 hour, lifting 60 Minutes (1.8) to its best numbers of the summer. Big Brother (2.7) was down a bit from last week.
  • ABC was more on the map than usual on this Sunday. They had four original hours beginning with a weak showing from special Science is Rock & Roll (0.5) followed by the three-hour CMA Music Festival (1.7), which was a significant improvement over ABC's usual Sunday offerings.
  • Bringing up the rear was NBC, which bid adieu to The Marriage Ref (0.9 in each of its two originals).
Above based on FINAL adults 18-49 ratings unless otherwise noted.
