After a month of The Voice episodes, NBC turned its Tuesdays over to NBA basketball for the rest of the season (though The Voice returned for its fall finale in mid-December). The season-long NBA average (134) got a boost from the enormous season premiere, which had a 1.39 demo (464 Plus). Beyond that, the games were matchup-dependent and fell between 80 and 164 Plus. It was a big improvement for the night but generally lower-rated than the ABC Saturday night games (161) as well as the NBC Sunday ones (203) introduced later in the season.
