A year after turning in league-average ratings as a The Masked Singer lead-out, The Floor moved to the anchor spot for the fall/spring and dipped by double digits. Game show lead-out 99 to Beat was not exactly a breakout at 9/8c but looked perfectly fine when compared to most of the lead-outs of Masked Singer prior to last year.

As The Floor took the fall/spring duty, The Masked Singer moved into the winter hiatus filler role, where it too was down a good bit from last year but remained stronger than The Floor and the rest of the Fox entertainment department. The revival of Fear Factor at 9/8c was another competent unscripted piece.

For the spring, summer staple MasterChef got pushed up to return earlier than usual, but was stuck at the same 70ish Plus that it's posted the last couple years. At 9/8c with a weaker lead-in, The Floor dipped even farther.

The Masked Singer Spring: Still an OK performer, but considering how steady the show was last year, plus all the success Fox used to have in this winter period between Survivor seasons, it was still underwhelming. Also, I denoted this as a spring season but in terms of viewership levels it might actually be fairer to compare it to the fall seasons, which would make the y2y comparisons a little worse. Grade: C.
