Spotted Ratings, Saturday 11/10/12

WHAT MATTERS:
  • ABC got back on top of the primetime college football world with Boston College and Notre Dame. Kansas State won the Fox game and claimed the #1 spot in the BCS, but you can tell from these ratings and the ones last week (when ABC was the one with K-State and finished a distant third) that the ESPN execs would muuuch rather have Notre Dame in the title game.

On cable, Wedding Band (TBS hour long comedy) premiere at 10PM got 0.84 in A18-49 demo, 0.91 A18-34. Not too shabby for Saturday ... but that's were good news stop.
Retention out of The Big Bang Theory was 56% (better 64% in A18-34).
And critics say pilot is good, but next episodes not so, kind of generic. Could be big drop in Episode 3 ratings if 2nd episode is indeed disappointing.

Thanks, I had actually meant to mention this. I thought the pilot was OK but probably won't watch again, especially if the consensus is there's a big quality drop-off.

For me anyway, the real takeaway is how well the TBBT repeats do on a Saturday night.
