WHAT MATTERS:- Numbers posted. ABC added animal documentary When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren to its Thursday. It went up against the return of NBC's Making It, which led into two episodes of Good Girls.
FINALS UPDATE: US Open Golf (0.4) and
Beat Shazam (0.5) adjusted up.
WHAT MATTERS:- Numbers posted. ABC had the premieres of unscripted returnees Holey Moley and The Hustler, while NBC aired its first night of primetime US Open golf.
FINALS UPDATE: United States of Al (0.5) adjusted up.
WHAT MATTERS:- Numbers posted. ABC's Rebel and NBC's Manifest both aired two hours to end their seasons, and the CW's Walker and Legacies returned from a couple weeks off.
FINALS UPDATE: Station 19 (0.7),
United States of Al (0.5) and
Mom (R)
(0.4) adjusted up.
WHAT MATTERS:- Numbers posted. It was finale night for ABC's Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy along with NBC's Law and Order: SVU and Law and Order: Organized Crime, while Fox brought back Beat Shazam.
FINALS UPDATE: Rebel (0.4),
Law and Order: SVU (0.8) and
Last Man Standing (0.4) adjusted up.
WHAT MATTERS:
FINALS UPDATE: Station 19 (0.8) and
Young Sheldon (0.6) adjusted up.
WHAT MATTERS:- ABC's Station 19 (0.7), Grey's Anatomy (0.9) and Rebel (0.5) returned even or slightly up, dominating the night as CBS got a horrible showing from Young Sheldon (0.5) at 8/7c, but was actually up with Mom (0.6) and B Positive (0.5) later in the night.
- NBC's Manifest (0.5/0.5) aired two more hours, likely to top last week's 0.5's which adjusted up from 0.4 in the prelims. The CW's Walker (0.1) and Legacies (0.1) returned from a few weeks off, with the former posting its first preliminary 0.1.
FINALS UPDATE: Station 19 (0.8) and
B Positive (0.5) adjusted up.
WHAT MATTERS:- ABC's new drama Rebel (0.5) had a fairly quiet start in the 10/9c hour, looking no better than most of the A Million Little Things episodes in this slot all season. A Station 19 (0.7) and Grey's Anatomy (0.9) crossover in the preceding hours was pretty similar to last week.
- NBC saw a big fall for week two of the Law and Order: SVU (0.9) and Law and Order: Organized Crime (0.8) pairing, though SVU remained way ahead of its season high from before last Thursday. Manifest (0.5) was also on the downturn in the 8/7c hour.
- CBS perhaps benefited from the weaker NBC and was mostly a bit up from last week's prelims with Young Sheldon (0.7), week two of United States of Al (0.6), Mom (0.6), B Positive (0.4) and Clarice (0.3). Last Man Standing (0.4) returned at 9/8c to lead into The Moodys (0.3), and the CW's Walker (0.2) and Legacies (0.1) were back from a break.
FINALS UPDATE: Station 19 (0.8),
Grey's Anatomy (0.9),
Young Sheldon (0.7),
United States of Al (0.6),
Law and Order: SVU (1.7) and
Law and Order: Organized Crime (1.6) adjusted up while
Clarice (0.2) adjusted down.
WHAT MATTERS:- NBC got a serious breakout performance from its two-hour Law and Order crossover as Christopher Meloni returned to the universe, with SVU (1.6) posting the biggest rating for a scripted series without a football lead-out this season and Meloni's Organized Crime premiere (1.5) not far behind. It will be the biggest night for SVU in the Plus era by a wide margin (its previous high was a 182 way back in 2004).
- Leading into the crossover was the season three premiere of Manifest (0.6), nearly a year after its last season's finale. It was down from its last season premiere (0.9 on Monday at 10/9c in January 2020).
- The night's other premieres ranged from quiet (a 0.5 for sitcom United States of Al leading out of Young Sheldon (0.6)) to disastrous (a 0.3/0.2 return for The Moodys following Hell's Kitchen (0.7)).
- And ABC's Station 19 (0.7), Grey's Anatomy (0.8) and A Million Little Things (0.4) took a hit against the stronger NBC competition.
FINALS UPDATE: Grey's Anatomy (0.9) and
Clarice (0.4) adjusted up while
Last Man Standing (0.4) adjusted down.
WHAT MATTERS:- A presidential address in the 8:00 half-hour bumped the start of primetime on the East Coast and could cause larger adjustments in the finals. ABC had the return of Station 19 (0.8/0.9), Grey's Anatomy (0.9/0.7) and A Million Little Things (0.4), the latter two of which would be at new lows if current results hold.
- CBS aired Young Sheldon (0.7), B Positive (0.6) and Mom (0.5) into a potential new low for week five of Clarice (0.3). NBC started Superstore (0.3) at 8:30, and Fox timeshifted its lineup of Hell's Kitchen (0.6/0.5), Call Me Kat (0.4) and Last Man Standing (0.5).
- As the only entertainment option at the start of the night, the CW's Walker was preliminarily back up to 0.3 for the first time in three episodes.
FINALS UPDATE: The Chase (0.6),
The Chase (0.5),
B Positive (0.7) and
The Unicorn (0.6) adjusted up.
WHAT MATTERS:
FINALS UPDATE: Mom (0.7),
Superstore (0.5),
Law and Order: SVU (0.7),
Hell's Kitchen (0.7) and
Walker (R)
(0.2) adjusted up.

Clarice
