After dropping 14% year-to-year last season, the Shark Tank slump continued into the next fall with a handful of 0.2's in the period. The 20/20 fall trends were almost as bad.

But Shark Tank picked up significantly in the winter, getting back onto last year's pace and staying there. 20/20 remained on the downside in the winter, but continued to improve in the spring.

Shark Tank: Not really sure why it kept struggling so much in the fall. While it managed to get somewhat back on track in the winter/spring, even that level is clearly past its prime, and one of the Friday night legends of the A18-49+ era is leaving the night again. It hopes to improve the long-troubled Wednesday 10/9c hour, while ABC hands this local programming lead-in to Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Grade: C+. 

20/20: Shark Tank's struggles have carried on to 20/20, which hit a six-year low. Grade: C+.
