Shark Tank and 20/20 returned yet again to ABC in fall 2022. While Shark Tank had its best y2y period of the year, setting another record for ABC in the 8/7c hour, 20/20 had its worst, so the night as a whole was on the downswing.

In the winter, Shark Tank got a bit of a bounce but not quite as much as last year, and 20/20 drew somewhat closer to even.

The spring saw a continuation of the winter trends, with Shark Tank's y2y getting a little worse while 20/20's got better, shooting into the positives and putting the night as a whole up.

Shark Tank: Pretty boring season for this lineup. With Shark Tank inching ever closer to its 108 series high, you could make the case for a B+, but since the trends got a little worse late in the season I'll go with Grade: B.

20/20: Reverse of the Shark Tank situation. -4% for the season is bordering on C+ but since it held up a little better in the spring it's a Grade: B-.
