It's time for a journey through the Fox Tuesday schedule in 2024-25...

Fox got filler-level ratings out of the Canadian co-production drama Murder in a Small Town, which meant little lead-in help for season two of the anthology drama Accused.

Fox orchestrated another nice turnaround in the winter, with Kitchen Nightmares taking it up another notch from its return in fall 2023. New drama Doc was actually below Rescue Hi-Surf premiere levels in its debut (0.19) but made a big week two jump to 0.25, stayed around there for awhile and then hit a couple more series highs (0.27 and 0.28) in its final month.

Murder in a Small Town: I'm keeping this in the league average because it's not a "rerun"; it's being aired simultaneously in Canada and the US as far as I can tell. (See here for more discussion on this distinction.) But it probably shouldn't be graded like a typical scripted show since the co-production with Canada likely mitigates cost. Fox is going with another season next fall.
Kitchen Nightmares: Maybe some of those fall Dancing with the Stars viewers migrated over here, helping another ancient reality staple to tie a series high it first set in fall 2007. This was probably an easier timeslot vs. the fall 2023 run since it didn't have NFL/The Voice competition but it was still impressive. Grade: A-.
The Cleaning Lady: These shows were looking to improve and they did, from 41/38 to 42/40!! Grade: C-.
Accused: Sort of like The Irrational from the last post, it was very weak but not particularly weaker than it was looking at the end of its last season. Grade: D+.
Doc: The positive post-premiere trajectory is definitely uncommon and intriguing, but can it possibly find any more improvement with a Murder in a Small Town lead-in this fall? Grade: B+.
Alert: Missing Persons Unit: See above. Grade: C-.
