9-1-1: Lone Star returned from a year off and wasn't really able to move the needle for Fox anymore, only barely improving on last year's Kitchen Nightmares same-day ratings. New drama Rescue: Hi-Surf didn't make any real impression out of the gate, but didn't bleed that much of its initial audience either.

The network got a little early winter pop in the timeslot from reality newbie Extracted, which had a strong 0.38 (120 Plus) premiere on Super Monday with a huge male audience, but within a few weeks it was settled at barely half that audience. Hi-Surf also had a little momentum by its standards in January and February, before returning to its low-end fall levels in March and ultimately getting the axe.

By the second half of its run, Extracted was at or below Gordon Ramsay filler levels, but it still scored another season. America's Most Wanted fell off considerably in a move to the 9/8c hour.

9-1-1: Lone Star: Sitting out a year and then coming back when your mothership has already moved to another network a year ago is a pretty unenviable position. But this was still a very quiet exit for a show that once had two hit seasons and all of its first four above the league average. Grade: C-.

Rescue: Hi-Surf: Didn't have a good case for renewal but at least it held the initial audience and didn't get all the way down to Cleaning Lady/Alert Tuesday levels. Sadly, Fox has done worse. Grade: C-.
