It's time for a journey through the Fox Monday schedule in 2025-26...

Game show spackle took over Monday for the fall and did as well as last year's Rescue: Hi-Surf.

The closest thing to a real effort Fox made was in the winter with season two of reality series Extracted, plus a post-NFL launch for new drama Memory of a Killer. Considering how front-loaded season one was, Extracted actually held up OK, as its late-season ratings were up from the end of last year. It got renewed for another season. Memory of a Killer did all right the night after its NFL preview in late January but was deep into flop territory beyond that.

Memory of a Killer: 49 average without the Sunday preview. I will give this the same grade as last year's Rescue: Hi-Surf, as they were comparable overall; Memory was a bit more front-loaded but Rescue had better lead-ins. Fox should be able to do better than this in linear ratings, as Best Medicine and Doc have shown. But in the end, Fox didn't care, and cited a lot of multi-platform stuff in making the renewal. Grade: D+.
