WHAT MATTERS:
- AMC's Fear the Walking Dead (2.53) won another Sunday night, but it may be the last time it can say that for awhile. It was down 18% from last week's premiere, and once again was down by 38% from the corresponding season one episode. And that's before Game of Thrones even comes back as head-to-head competition. That looms next week.
- Continuing to track the Fear editions of Talking Dead... in week two, it dropped to 0.84, now retaining just 33% of the Fear demo. Remember from last week that the spring editions after the mothership never went worse than 37%.
- A couple low-rated returnees came back on new nights this week: 12 Monkeys (0.14) on Syfy and Orphan Black (0.08) on BBC America. Monkeys moved from Friday to Monday and shed two-thirds of last year's series premiere rating. (It was kinda within striking distance of the season one low point (0.17), though.) And Orphan Black moved from its usual Saturday perch to Thursday, giving up more than half of its 0.19 premiere audience from a year ago.
- TBS' The Detour (0.35) and Starz' Outlander (0.27) each took sizable tumbles from their promising premieres last week. Detour is still ahead of what Angie Tribeca was doing on Mondays, but now by less than a tenth.
