Rating the Ratings: I continue to marvel at just how speedily Top Model has melted down. This spring's "British Invasion" cycle marked the third straight cycle that the show has dropped at least 35% year-to-year. That means it's lost nearly two thirds of its demo audience in just two years; it's hard to believe it averaged a 1.51 in spring 2010! The move to 9/8c has clearly done nothing at all for this show, which now ranks among the very weakest on its very weak network. So the next piece of creative scheduling will be a late summer premiere for the next edition. Unless that brings some kind of ratings miracle, I'm guessing the end is now very near for Top Model. Grade: F.
