(0.3) and Whose Line Is It Anyway? (R) (0.3) adjusted down.

WHAT MATTERS:

• Preliminary ratings are inflated due to NFL preseason preemptions. Major market preemptions include CBS in Miami/Jacksonville, NBC in Philadelphia and the CW in Charlotte.

FINALS UPDATE: Everything adjusted down. This led to big week-to-week drops from both The Wall (0.7) and The Night Shift (0.5) on NBC. In that light, it was a win for SNL Weekend Update Thursday to muster up a 1.2, making it easily the second-biggest program out of the broadcast offerings.

WHAT MATTERS:

• Preliminary ratings are heavily inflated due to NFL preseason preemptions. Despite this, NBC introduced its summertime Saturday Night Live Weekend Update specials, and ABC wrapped up The Story of Diana. Check back later for updates.
