Celebrity Wheel of Fortune did not exactly resuscitate the declining Friday 8/7c hour for ABC. It was about as strong as last year's fall/spring Shark Tank, but that made it weaker than last year's Shark Tank average overall and obviously a far cry from Tank's heyday.

Wheel didn't bounce much in the winter, but 20/20 managed to get its act together, and coupled with more improvement in the spring was able to get to even in Plus on the year.

ABC did eventually get a taste of prime Shark Tank-level ratings with the arrival of Celebrity Jeopardy! in the spring, playing most of its season on Friday before doing a four-night finale event during May sweeps. The last episode got a 130 Plus, which would be a top-ten all-time Shark Tank episode in this slot.
