MacGyver: I'm on the record many times saying I think this shows' ratings strength is kinda overrated, but missing the fall schedule to accommodate Magnum P.I. is still a tough break. Very ordinary, unsurprising season in the ratings for Mac. Grade: B-.

Hawaii Five-0: The only one of the Friday staples that had any real movement at all, and even it wasn't much. It still hasn't quite gotten down to its first three seasons on Friday, but now it's closer to those seasons than to its height two years ago. Grade: C+.

Blue Bloods: I was gonna go B, as I like to do when a typically steady show is steady, but True Plus is telling me it was a slightly stronger performer since its lead-in was down some. Grade: B+.
