WHAT MATTERS:

• Back from a week off, all three ABC game shows (0.7/0.6/0.5) were down a tenth, but kept ABC in the nightly lead as the BET Awards (0.4) got a simulcast opportunity on CBS.

WHAT MATTERS:

• ABC had Sunday's top broadcast program with a John Bolton interview (0.7) in the 9/8c hour, matching last week's episode of Press Your Luck in the timeslot.

• There was less interest in its lead-in, a John Legend Father's Day special (0.4), as well as CBS' two-hour Grammy salute to essential workers (0.3/0.2). NBC's Hollywood Game Night inched back up to 0.3.

FINALS UPDATE: NASCAR (0.5) adjusted up while 60 Minutes (R) (0.5) adjusted down.

WHAT MATTERS:

• Week three for ABC's game shows saw a return to the week one dynamic, with Celebrity Family Feud (0.8) dropping and Press Your Luck (0.7) and Match Game (0.6) rebounding. NBC's Hollywood Game Night dropped to a paltry 0.2 in its second week at 7/6c.

• Fox's NASCAR race was largely knocked into primetime due to weather delays. The coverage usually hovered around 0.4 to 0.5.

WHAT MATTERS:

• It was a mixed week two for the ABC game shows, as Celebrity Family Feud (0.9) grew by a tenth from last week's premiere but Press Your Luck (0.6) and Match Game (0.5) were both down a notch.

• NBC had a quiet start to Hollywood Game Night (0.3) episodes in the 7/6c hour, and CBS offered a sing-along edition of theatrical Grease (0.4/0.5/0.5).

WHAT MATTERS:

• Week three brought another multiple-tenth drop for BH90210 (0.8), though it once again edged its MasterChef lead-in (0.7) in the demo.

• The Big Brother uptick on Sunday continued to Wednesday (1.3), where it tied its season high again and was up by 0.2 from last Wednesday. NBC was even with America's Got Talent (1.1) and Songland (0.7), while Hollywood Game Night (0.4) got even lower in a move to Wednesday 10/9c (tying last week's The InBetween finale).

• And the CW's Hypnotize Me (0.2) is looking to join Pandora as a second CDub original to hit 0.2 this week after multiple episodes at 0.1.

WHAT MATTERS:

• ABC got little relief from last week's big Thursday drops; Family Food Fight (0.4) picked back up by a tenth, but Holey Moley (0.6) and Reef Break (0.3) were steady. All other originals matched last week!

WHAT MATTERS:

• Back from a week off for the holiday, ABC Thursday saw declines from Holey Moley (0.8) and Family Food Fight (0.5), but an uptick from Reef Break (0.4) at 10/9c.

• Big Brother (1.0) moved to Thursday and matched Wednesday's rating, as did night three of Love Island (0.6). Fox was even with MasterChef (0.7) and Spin the Wheel (0.6).

• NBC had a soft return from Hollywood Game Night (0.5), kicking off its first regularly-scheduled run in two years, and the CW's summer drama The Outpost (0.1) returned for season two.

FINALS UPDATE: Somewhere Between (0.3), Hollywood Game Night (1.2), The Flash (R) (0.2) and Legends of Tomorrow (R) (0.2) adjusted down.

WHAT MATTERS:

• After a breakout Monday premiere, ABC's Bachelor in Paradise (1.0/1.1) was much lower as it took up shop on its second night. The competition is admittedly tougher on Tuesday, but this is a really wide gulf; last year the Tuesday ratings were usually within a tenth or two of the Monday ratings. It will be interesting to see which version shows up next week.

• Meanwhile, the timeslot after America's Got Talent (2.8) went back to Hollywood Game Night (1.3), which easily beat all of its Thursday results from earlier in the summer but was still a good bit lower than what World of Dance has been doing in this slot.

FINALS UPDATE: Battle of the Network Stars (0.8), Hollywood Game Night (0.9) and The Wall (1.0) adjusted up.

WHAT MATTERS:

• An incredible second week for Big Brother continued with a big Thursday uptick (1.9), marking the show's second new season high in as many days. It even lifted the surrounding comedy repeats (1.3/1.0) and lowly Zoo (0.6).

•  But it was an equally brutal week on ABC, where Battle of the Network Stars (0.7) and The Gong Show (0.7) each collapsed from their reasonable numbers a week ago. That's left them looking not that much better than Boy Band, which managed to inch up to 0.6 in week three.

• NBC's Hollywood Game Night (0.8) and The Wall (0.9) each inched down in their third week together, while The Night Shift (0.7) held onto last week's uptick. They came against repeats of the Fox game shows (0.7/0.6).

WHAT MATTERS:

• Numbers and analysis coming shortly. ABC rounded out its summer Thursday lineup with its Battle of the Network Stars revival at 9/8c, surrounded by week two of Boy Band and The Gong Show. And CBS launched season three of drama Zoo following the second night of Big Brother.
