The Fox animated comedies had much stronger post-NFL episodes, vaulting the 8/7c hour to big growth in the fall even though the non-NFL eps were on the downside.

Once the NFL was gone, the decline was evident in all four shows, though Family Guy at 9:30 held up the best and emerged with a clearer advantage than usual.

The spring saw even more ugly declines for Bob's Burgers, which had already been the biggest decliner in the winter and then lost its Family Guy pre-tune when the much weaker returnee Housebroken mixed in at times during the spring.

The Simpsons: Whenever the NFL wasn't around, it was down, but not enormously so. Grade: C+.

The Great North: Same. Grade: C+.

Bob's Burgers: The biggest loser in the lineup this year, with some pretty ugly trends in both winter and spring. The addition of Housebroken in the spring probably didn't help matters, though. Grade: C.

Family Guy: I'll give it the best grade since it held up kinda decently in the winter compared to the others. Despite Housebroken getting mixed in, Family Guy still aired about the same number of episodes in the spring, so I don't think its average was particularly affected. Grade: B-.

Housebroken: The average above is dragged down since most of its episodes came after the end of the regular season, but even just sticking with the 34 in the spring above, that means it was considerably weaker post-Bob's Burgers than the 41 it got for its initial run in summer 2021. And that was already quite bad. Grade: D-.
