Rating the Ratings: ABC's one-time underdog story Shark Tank has now become a Friday night dynasty, yet again growing in A18-49+ and posting the best Plus for a Friday night series since Law and Order: SVU was on the night over a decade ago. For the historical reasons, I was tempted to go with an A- here like with The Middle. But the show had a few somewhat shaky points late in the season. The last month can be explained by the move to the low-viewed 8:00 hour, but it hit 1.5 on a couple occasions even before that. Perhaps it can cruise back to upper-1's in the fall, especially if the latest 8:30 choice Dr. Ken is well-sampled. But it kinda feels like we may be at or near the A18-49+ peak here. Grade: B+.
