WHAT MATTERS:

• NBC's second go at primetime boxing (0.8) was down by three tenths from the first one a month ago, perhaps nicked a bit by additional competition from NASCAR (1.0). Though NASCAR came out on top, it was 33% behind the year-ago race.

• ABC hit a new low with what seems to be the final edition of In an Instant (0.5).
