*- For this winter's War of 18-49 updates, the A18-49+ is based on a projected league average, calculated by applying the league average's current year-to-year trend (thru 1/18/15) to the final 2013-14 average. This should help make these numbers compare more fairly with fall seasons past.

Rating the Ratings: The struggles continued for the show that launched Gordon Ramsay's empire on Fox, as it dropped another 20% from the last spring/summer season. The vast majority of episodes fell somewhere from 1.3 to 1.5, with it only getting as low as 1.1 for the Thanksgiving Eve airing. I expected a couple tenths higher, but everyone told me during Best Case/Worst Case season that I was being too optimistic, so probably half of my disappointment can be explained by simple prognosticator stupidity. Still, considering how fellow Ramsay series MasterChef Junior has thrived in the regular season, I'm not inclined to give it that much of a pass. Grade: D+.

Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for Hell's Kitchen.
