Rating the Ratings: CSI dropped more than the league average for the ninth straight season, and its final Wednesday season will also likely go down as its last above-average one. The premiere's 2.0 was down 20% year-to-year, but CSI held very close to that number for the rest of the season and made up a little year-to-year ground (including a 1.9 finale that was down just 5%). With Criminal Minds still potent and a particularly easy competitive opportunity (vs. modest Nashville and Chicago PD), CBS moved CSI to Sunday for 2014-15. It probably gets multiple seasons on the night, as CSI: Miami and The Mentalist did, but the pairing with The Good Wife won't be a good thing for its ratings. Grade: C.
