*- For this winter's War of 18-49 updates, the A18-49+ is based on a projected league average, calculated by applying the league average's current year-to-year trend (thru 3/30/14) to the final 2012-13 average. This should help make these numbers compare more fairly with fall/winter seasons past.

Rating the Ratings: The latest resurgence of The Bachelor picked up a little more steam this winter, as the show dropped by less than the league average even in what should've been a tougher competitive landscape against first the Winter Olympics and then The Voice. The season premiere's 2.7 was significantly up year-to-year, though it dropped big from there and across the next month was roughly even with the corresponding data points. The Olympics and The Voice indeed limited its usual ability to pick up major momentum in the second half of the season, but it still had its massive spike for the finale, which was only barely down year-to-year. Grade: B+.

Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for The Bachelor.
