- The Stanley Cup Finals returned to broadcast at a tick behind Game 1's rating. It continued the series' blistering year-to-year growth pace, though an apples-to-apples comp is not available since last year's game 4 was on cable.
- Several returns on cable:
- Comedy Central brought back Futurama (0.8) for yet another so-called final season, and it tied last season's demo high point.
- On the other hand, a nightmarish week for TNT continued with Franklin & Bash (0.6) returning to tie a series low point. (Though some slippage was likely since the show's back on its own this year after leading out of Rizzoli & Isles a year ago.)
- TV Land had a pretty good night as the live episode of Hot in Cleveland (0.5) hung the show's best result in over a year and The Exes (0.4) led out with its best ratings since the summer premiere a year ago.
- USA got a bit of relief as Royal Pains (0.8) and Necessary Roughness (0.7) upticked in their second weeks back.
