- The originals had a rough go of it on viewing-depressed July 3rd. Officially, viewing was down 12%. America's Got Talent bounced back by a half point on the 10th, but struggling Love in the Wild saw no recovery at all.
- Fox's MLB All-Star Game dominated the 10th and despite the blowout was up a tick from last year's lowest-ever rating.
- ABC completed its summer newbie strikeout with weak starts from Trust Us With Your Life and NY Med. It now seems fairly likely that zero of ABC's five newbies will end up settling above even a 1.0 demo!
- The year-to-year problems continue for USA as the season premieres of White Collar (1.0) and Covert Affairs (0.9) were significantly down from year-ago premieres (1.2 apiece) that had considerably tougher competition (the NBA Finals and The Voice).
