Rating the Ratings: Chuck was one of those shows whose supposedly loyal audience largely did not make the move to Friday. To be fair, Chuck is not exactly alone in struggling with this transition, as Ugly Betty (-43%), Smallville (-37%), CSI: NY (-42%) and Nikita (-44%) among others can attest. But it is disappointing that Chuck wasn't able to do a little better than this considering it made the Friday move from an already highly difficult slot. Shows like CSI: NY and Nikita were going from big lead-ins to essentially anchor roles, while Chuck had already led off Monday for four seasons. Chuck got a bad break in having to go up against Game 7 of the World Series on premiere night, but 1) that didn't stop Grimm from having a good premiere and 2) Chuck actually dropped starting the next week. The show had no pulse at all till the last couple weeks, when it got a 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 demo in its last three episodes. Grade: D.

Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for Chuck.
