- The music show separation may have helped out So You Think You Can Dance in its new Wednesday slot, but it didn't do much for Duets, down by a couple tenths from its already disappointing premiere last week.
- Fox aired the two remaining episodes of Touch, which predictably did much worse than anything from the show's post-Idol run in the regular season.
- The second of the CW's summer premieres was Breaking Pointe, which posted virtually identical numbers to those of The Catalina from two nights earlier.
- For the fifth straight night, TV's top primetime program on was on cable, this time Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Finals on TNT (3.0). TBS' Men at Work (1.0) was down in week two and dropped two ticks from its also-weaker 9:30 Big Bang Theory lead-in (1.2).
