Spotted Ratings, Wednesday 9/7/11 (FINALS)

 WHAT MATTERS:
  • The late-season downturn continues for Big Brother. Following weak showings thanks to football and Labor Day Weekend, the excuses weren't as obvious for the Wednesday edition (2.9) dropping four tenths week-to-week. It was the first time in six weeks Big Brother wasn't at least tied as the top broadcast program. It narrowly lost to America's Got Talent (3.0), which is having a bit of a late-season rally.
  • Not sure it matters, but Fox's Buried Treasure (1.3) is flexing a little unexpected muscle, rising three tenths from its first two results. Something to keep an eye on, but it's hard to see the momentum continuing next week as it goes head-to-head with the Got Talent finale and the Survivor premiere.
Above based on FINAL adults 18-49 ratings unless otherwise noted.
