Spotted Ratings, Sunday 5/8/11

WHAT MATTERS:
  • As predicted yesterday, the President Obama interview on 60 Minutes was well above average among spring results (though slightly below its overall average because of all those fall NFL overruns).
  • Expanded editions of The Amazing Race (for its finale) and Celebrity Apprentice (for three hours) both underperformed. Apprentice in particular was way down, 23% week-to-week to a season low, but that's more like 17% when just comparing the  9:00-11:00 period.
  • CSI: Miami and the season/hopefully-series finale of Brothers & Sisters were the shows that seemed most damaged by last week's crazy Obama scheduling, and both rallied. B&S' rise was noticeable, up 19% week-to-week to tie its best number since early March.
